SCHOLARSHIP

The Jax Mac Foundation Scholarship is a gateway for courageous, bold, original thinkers who are hungry to play a leadership role in their communities. The Foundation’s scholarship aims to reward ambitious Leaders with financial assistance to persue their dreams.

Value:

5 scholarship grants with values of $2500 each. JMF will issue funds directly to post secondary institution on your behalf. If application is processed mid semester, payment will be applied to post secondary intuition the following semester.

Eligibility:

  • For the purposes of this scholarship application, eligibility is limited to Grade 12 students who are transitioning into their first year of post-secondary education, as well as first-year students who are advancing into their second year of studies.

 

  • Be a Canadian citizen studying at a Canadian institution.

 

  • Each applicant must answer the 4 short answer questions on application form.

 

  • Each applicant must provide a video introducing themselves along with a short clip on why they should receive the scholarship.

Everyone has a trait, a quirk, an activity that makes them unique, whether it’s sports, their upbringing, their hobbies, or interests. Go into as much detail as you feel comfortable to answer.

How have you contributed to your community?*

Describe your experience in community service, explain how you’ve given back, or share volunteer opportunities you’ve participated in.

What are your academic and/or career goals?*

Be clear and concise. Explain what you want to study, and then what kind of career you want to lead afterwards. Be sure to save room for 1-2 sentences explaining why you’re motivated to pursue that path.
